I met Jorge after my mom’s passing. We needed to navigate selling her home. Jorge (and his team) helped us in ways that these typed words cannot fully express.

You see, it was not as simple as selling a house. The house was on a reverse mortgage. The utilities were in arrears. My mom was a hoarder—a hoarder on the scale of that television show. Our first impulse was to just let the house go to the bank and let them deal with the mess. But Jorge came over and assessed that financially, it was a mistake for our family to let go of the house because there was enough equity to make the effort of clearing the house worthwhile. Now, many realtors might tell someone that that, leaving them to wrangle what all that would entail on their own. Not Jorge.

Jorge’s knowledge, compassion, humanity, and customer-first attitude were only outmatched by his willingness to make things happen. Things no other realtor would have done. During one of the most terrible times of our lives, Jorge stepped in and made the clearing and the selling of our mother’s house as painless as it could possibly be for my brothers and me. He updated the utilities for us so we could work in the house. He arranged for a team to clear the house. He arranged for the construction-sized trash bin to be cleared, and it had to be cleared multiple times. I do not remember the tonnage that was removed…but it was mind-blowing. He arranged for a cleaning crew. He followed up and supervised each crew as they completed the work to ensure swift and quality completion of each part. What would have taken my siblings and me weeks to do on our own was done in less than four days!!! When all was done, I cried when I saw my mom’s house cleaned and in such restored condition. He arranged all of this in a way that we did not have to pay out of our own pockets up front. I honestly do not know if we would have survived the process emotionally or physically without Jorge.
